MKPL’s Promont tower stands out as a slender building amongst surrounding giants

The Promont, emerges from Singapore’s Cairnhill, a low hill which evolved from quiet streets of vernacular row-houses, into a mini-orchestra of towers each competing for a foothold in the now swanky neighbourhood. This petite plot inspired a daring move: to become a niche development and seductive counterpoint amongst the Goliaths nearby. Its svelte footprint packs 15 luxurious one-unit per floor apartments complete with a pool and a gym over 17 storeys.

MKPL try to make The Promont’s plan bold and efficient. The meaning of the building-fabric is extolled to the hilt as the Promont transforms from comfortable enclosure to an appealing outfit from all around. This weave of fabric and gem glitters overtly where the apartments overlook the uptown district below, Function and fashion fuse in the Promont.
